i had a few friends which i really enjoyed my time with.
now i have none, it seems. some blocked me, some just are pushing me away, and some keep talking to me while i dont know what to say. but why does this happen? i feel bad about it. i want our friendship to be just like before. |

I believe at times we out grow our friends. Also on the flip side they out grow us. There are categories of friends as well. Real friends, good time friends, hobby friends, etc. What you invest is what you reap. That said be aware of who you invest in. It took me 20 years to gain great friends. I guess I wasn't ready before that time. Be your own best friend first!

How old are you? Just out of school? As you get older, graduate, move on, people you know will also move on.

i'm 17 and forgot to mention it feels like my life is completely standing still. i don't go to school anymore. and indeed, my friends are from another school, or from a onlinegame that already stopped. but even after school or the game i had great contact with them for 2 years. but after, it was like: "what am i supposed to say. i have nothing to talk about" uncomfortable silences and stuff. i got really disappointed in myself and wanted my old-me back. i still do believe if i change myself somehow (don't know how) i can be the same as before.

It's the nature of friendships these days. One year you're close with someone, the next they're getting married or finding jobs.

This seems internal, and how you are feeling about yourself. Therapy can help you understand yourself, and grow as well. So yes, you can change.
