Housing is a huge issue. My mom hates me, her words. I hate being here, I'm tired of fighting an uphill battle to be independent.

I'm so sorry Aviza. I'm so sorry to hear that. I too have worries about being independent again. It seems so hard and I don't really know how I managed before. I have so many worries about my future especially after my grandmother passes (she's only 66 but I know that we all have our time).

I've been living with my sister for the last four years and this week I'm getting my own place. Living with family sucks. Just do your best to do get everything together. One day it will happen. Make small goals for yourself celebrate each one. Soon you'll be on your own. Good luck.

Aviza, I feel for you. Many of us are managing, grateful for a roof over our heads while we are looking to move forward with our lives. Sometimes we just have to do what we got to do to get better. It is hard work to want to get better, but the goal is the best. The results is worth it! Hang in there. you are in my prayers. tc
