I am crying right now and I don't know why. I was at a neighborhood party earlier and there were a lot of adults and kids and teenagers and stuff, and when I saw the neighbor's teenaged girls and their boyfriends, I started to feel a tightening in my chest and a flushed feeling in my body. Initially I thought it was a panic attack, but now I'm not so sure. I'm crying on and off now that I left the party early and am back in the privacy of my own home.

Maybe it was that I hadn't talked to this guy I'm trying to forge a relationship with for a few days, or maybe it's something else. I'm just confused.....

Sometimes it's difficult to see others in relationships, especially when we want desperately to have a partner ourselves. It makes us feel unworthy to see everyone else coupled up and then we're just there, alone. I used to have issues with this in the past, so I understand it.

Sad and I don't know why?
The night city grows
Look at the horizon glow
Drinking in the lights
Following the neon signs
Looking at the milky skyline
The city is my church
It wraps me in blinding twilight...

Sad and I don't know why?

Sorry you are upset. Why haven't you talked to that guy?

My t says it's a victim mentality to worry what other people have. Somebody else always has more than us. Also less than us

you will have the things you want and need as you are young and probably can't comprehend right now how things are or will go in the future. keep being a good person too, kind and loving and things will go your way.

Well it sounds from your other posts that you have a lot going on recently, maybe you are feeling overwhelmed?

If I feel sad, I try to remind myself that this feeling will pass, it's okay and normal to feel sad sometimes - it's only if it's a regular thing that you need to be concerned.

I dunno why he isn't talking...I called him last night but it went to voice mail. I also sent him an email but he never responded.

I agree with others that seeing people happy in relationships when you are yearning for something yourself can really put a hurt on your heart. Sometimes you have to make sure you do your self care and make sure you're getting good friend time with people so you feel like you have other good relationships going on too.
