Hi there. I am in a mixed mood today. I want to feel happy and content but why do I have to work at it? Why can't i just feel it naturally? Oh well, Acceptance is the answer I know, but it's still hard. I am looking forward to this coming week though. I finally get to see my Psychiatrist and get my meds changed hopefully. I just got put on new meds about 3 weeks ago, but one of them I took myself off of which is Lithium because it was making me throw up. y I need something else to replace it though. Maybe then, I will feel better. I am trying to keep a positive attitude today.

Maybe the reason you have to work so hard at it is because your body doesn't have the nutrients it needs to feel right on it's own. If your brain and body has the proper nutrients it needs to function properly, you should feel good.
Here's a brain function questionnaire to show you what neurotransmitters are related to what emotions. http://drjolee.com/Brain-Function-Questionnaire.pdf
