What to do if you are not coping you tell your doctors and people you love but the answer you get is there are many people with worst problems and they choose to cope.

I've heard that myself and it hurts. Don't give up just because everyone else is less compassionate.

I agree, comments such as that show a lack of compassion ... If from a doctor or family it's particularly sad. It's about them... Don't give up

Like the others said, that is sad to hear.
If someone isn't coping then people should always try their best to address that and help out. I hate when people say it, because even though it's true that someone somewhere has it worse, that doesn't mean you don't have a right to not cope.
All of us are human, and no matter what situation or circumstance we should all have a chance to express it.

My advice would be to bring it up again, and explain it like I did. You should try to create it into a discussion so that it will engage those people and that they will be made to think about it, instead of just dismiss it. Tell them how you feel about their reaction (saying that other people can have it worse), and describe your situation of how you are not coping. Tell them that you would appreciate support and comfort, some help.
You should say that you could cope, like those other people, but that is only if you get the help and support you need.

I hope this works for you, and that soon you'll be alright soon. Good luck

Never compare yourself to others, and do not let others do it for you.

Saying that other people have it worse shouldn't invalidate your pain.

Good morning. Wow, when I was reading your post it reminded me of about a year ago I was having really bad panic attacks so I wnt to the hospital and they gave me a Psychologist for me to talk to. Boy what a joke that was. All he kept saying was for me to look at all the movie stars with Bipolar and look how well they are doing. So he more or less downgraded my feelings and I was left feeling worse than ever. His prognosis was for me to take hot showers when I have my panic attacts. So you see, even the medical community doesn't know how to effectively help people who have some kind of mental disorder, like I am Severe Bipolar1. And what they need to really work on his their communications skills with those who have a mental disorder. You are not supposed to talk down to a mentally ill patient. Oh well, I could go on and on but I hope this helps you even just for a little bit. Good luck to you. Bye
