I have been isolating since losing my job. Tomorrow I have a networking lunch so it will break this emotional stalemate.
I have been pretty overwhelmed for a few years now. My recent campaign to find a counselor has failed, and now with the job loss I dare not even think of paying out-of-pocket for counseling even at a sliding scale fee. The good thing that happened recently is that one week ago I took suicidal ideation off the table. I was having suicidal thoughts pretty regularly but for a long time didn't tell anyone. I finally realized I was strong enough to make a commitment to using coping skills over entertaining suicidal thoughts. This week I kept to my promise and that is about the most positive thing I did all week.

That's great to know and I'm glad you are still here posting and responding because you don't give in you are a inspiration to me and others
