For the last 4-5 months I've felt utterly useless. I didn't do much when I worked. I haven't worked for more than 2 months now. Sometimes I stay at home for a week at a time. I speak with my family sometimes, but otherwise I don't talk to anyone (I talk to myself to compensate the lack of conversations). I go out just to buy groceries or to do necessary things like seeing a doctor. I have no social life or any interests to spend my time on. I just waste my time on the Internet, and it's gotten very boring. I try to improve my skills to land a new job, but I cannot do it now. I feel very low, very guilty, and very worthless.

You need an adventure.

Try to find one place to go everyday...library, park, grocery store, mall, museum....

I guess you are right. I need some change. I'm still figuring out what that might be.

Thanks for the suggestion. I like your signature. It's very true. That's how I see things now: impossible to be achieved. Maybe later, if I got out of this situation, I'd look back and say: it wasn't impossible after all! Who knows

I think that's an excellent suggestion by Nammu - start small, just one place different, even if just a short time. It's a good start.
Thanks for this!

You arent useless, unless you choose to do nothing. After all it is your choice. There's nothing wrong with being anti-social most of the time. I prefer to be "unreachable" so i can have my own life to myself at the moment. And if thats what you want than stay that way, but if you want to do something than thats up to you and your imagination.

I feel the exact same way I'm useless.. I don't feel motivated for really doing anything.. I'm just wasting time and space.

I hear you

As the others have said, change your routine. Even if it is inside, do something with intent like getting creative or journalling. Something to break up the monotony
