I use stress relief soap, and I seem to have little mood swings and my stress level is low. I think it's the soap, because I only feel like this when I use the soap and I only use it when I work.

I didn't use it today and I feel very anxious.

Does this work for anyone else?

I'm guessing there is a strong possibility it's all in my head though. Like maybe a placebo affect. I don't really care as long as my stress level is low.

I respond much better to natural therapies like eating healthy exercising and using natural herbs like melatonin and chamomile. A lot of psych meds make things worse because of the side effects. I am also very sensitive to the weight gain side effect and gaining weight is a huge issue for me.

I'm glad the soap works.

It's $8.50 which is very expensive for a bar of soap, but they had a sale at Bath And Body Works, buy 3 get 3 free on the soap, and 5 for $6 on the hand sanitizer so I got 6 bars of soap and 5 stress relief hand sanitizer's for $37. That's enough to last for a year!

I don't use the soap, but I do use the stress relief sent of body spray they have. It helps me. I only really use it when I'm leaving the house, since I have a lot of anxiety in public.

I used some of the hand sanitizer and I got out of taking an Ativan. Again I don’t know if this is all in my mind, but it’s benefiting me in the long run.

It helps me. I also went to an essential oils store and had some custom made soap with lavender in it and that also helps.

This really intrigues me. I assume the soap is infused with essential oils (lavender perhaps?). Can you tell us more about the active ingredients?

I’ve never even heard of this soap. I’m going to look into it as I’d definitely give it a go. I don’t care if it’s all in the mind if it works. Thank you for posting this.

It has eucalyptus and spearmint.

I have also seen sleep soap, but I take a shower in the morning so it’s no use to me.

It's at bath and body works. If you ask them to show you the aromatherapy area, you should be able to find it. There's a lot of stuff in there so asking the clerk for help might be good.

Yes I use them and I buy lots of essential oils too and use lavender lotion as well. There's many scents that always seems to lift my moods up. Sometimes I'll even buy soap from other natural stores that I've found. Nag Champa is something I use too. The soap is amazing in the shower. I love bath and body works and all I get from the store is aromatherapy. Now I hardly ever wear perfume unless I'm going out on dates or something.

There's many organic soaps found on Etsy if anyone isn't found of bath and body works. Just search on etsy. There's many shops that you can find on there as well.

For some reason it helps me stay calm and I feel very peaceful.

My family came up for the weekend and I usually get moody and annoyed when They come up. I used the soap both Saturday and today, and I had no noticeable mood swings or annoyance.

It’s kind of silly to assume the soap caused me to be visibly calm (while having my usual quiet frequent mood swings I keep to myself)

I mean if the soap caused me to be ok, that’s just weird.

I guess it doesn’t really matter if it’s in my head that my stress is low because of some soap.

My mother lived in a memory care unit, and they used essential oils to help calm the residents with dementia and Alzheimer's.

My therapist said it’s definitely a placebo effect.
