No matter how hard I try, I always wind up failing at whatever it is I do. I feel absolutely miserable. I just want to feel like I can succeed at something again.

I am sorry that you are feeling this way. It will get better I promise you! Try looking for positive quotes on how you are feeling right it down and then recite you when you need some motivation.
