I'm working through a breakup, and find myself more upset about losing the story I created in my head about how I wanted things to go than the ending of the actual relationship... Even if my ex wanted me back (I know he definitely does not) I wouldn't want for us to try again. And yet, I still find myself grieving where I once thought the relationship would lead, all the things we'd do and everything that would happen... Weird.

Getting this out now actually makes me feel at peace and happy... I can just let all of those dreams go. Lay them to rest They didn't come to be, and I have to believe something better is waiting for me!

I'm glad you're feeling better Your feelings are pretty normal. You've had plans and ambitions that ultimately didn't come to be. Better luck next time

Grieving what was never to be... wise of you to recognize that.
