If it's anything remotely connected to politics, seems like that's going to jar feathers. It's perhaps better to state intent of your intended message and block whomever is bothering you. And also, let someone know, whether it be administration, a friend, inner circle and don't suffer in silence.

Edit To add: when I say state intent, if bothered over what you initially wrote, keep it simple. And then, disengage from that individual. Hence, blocking and reporting or just blocking. It's kind of case by case, occurrence by occurrence. It's unsettling no doubt. Hence, all the more reason to not keep what's happening to yourself. It can affect your emotions when bottling it up. It's easy to ask of oneself, why me? What exactly have I done to provoke this person's lashing out. The truth is, probably nothing. And it's, as I've learned, less about you and more about them. Online can have twists and turns that would unlikely happen face to face. Which is why it comes accross so baffling. Baffling enough to begin a thread about, right?

((((Buffy01)))) It happens to a lot of people, unfortunately. It's an aspect of social media. I'd suggest to just block whoever is bothering you. I'm sorry you have to deal with this, it's not good at all

I am unable to block this person on YouTube because I had tried and he admitted that he would just used another name and continued to harassed me. There is no monitor or a mute person. I tried reporting this person. No one is able to help me.

Try the resources on this link. I know what you mean about repeated accounts and youtube not having protections in place

If there is a threat to harm, compile everything that he has sent and don't hesitate to contact law enforcement. That's considered a cybercrime. Stay safe

I don't use it- I don't have time for all the drama it brings to my life (my life's all ready challenging)

I used it years ago, because it had some pretty good mental health groups on it (Facebook this is), but it depressed me- seeing how together everyone was compared to me and how people were just getting on with things, so I quit using it

I left eventually after an argument about an earthquake- one of the major ones they showed on the news at that time

as for twitter, well I used it briefly to interact with a friends radio station- but the friend got quite irate about the fact I was " too interactive", and she sort of drove me away from it

Raises hand. Yes I had one person put up a post on their owm page. It was something that happened to me as a kid and they dredged it up. I nearly left my home town because it tore me up so much.
It was a married family man who went to the sports club I went to until I was eighteen years old. I think that his wife or close relative was the teacher who tormented me so much until one day she made me so anxious that I threw up. And instead of sending me to the school nurse, she balled at me until my class mate jumped in. She quit. Thank heavens.

Two different people on YouTube had apologized for how bad they had treated me when they realized I had been cyberstalked. Someone had recently digested in graphic details how I should commit suicide.
