I know in life you need perseverance to succeed, but I have very low frustration tolerance. I quit very quickly. I start doing things, but at the first bump I stop, and withdraw. This is true in my social and professional life. No wonder why no one wants to talk or hire me. The thought that I'm a failure comes up very frequently to my head. I feel frustrated all the time. I know life is not a rosy road, but I'm weak to fight for what I want. I don't know why.

Think about this>? What is it that you start and can't work past?? Are these relationship problems? Maybe pushing yourself is not beneficial for you right now, but should think about revisiting at another time. Can you do this on your own? Is this a healthy hobby? Have you learned ways to distract yourself from theses types of thoughts? Is there a toxic relationship in your life that is adding to these thoughts. If so, remove yourself from it completely.

Everything I start I lose interest in very quickly. For example, last summer wanted to bike. It felt good at first, but quickly I lost interest. But kept doing it anyway just to get out of my apartment. At work, I start a project and then wander and keep changing things, and don't go back to where I was. My mind is a mess. I cannot focus on anything, and have no motivation to do anything.

I'm not interested in biking. I mean I was at first, but then I lost interest. I kept doing it because it was the only way to go outside my apartment when the weather was nice, and be alone without being awkward. I have to say I felt better when I did it. Not good, but better. Now, because I stay at home I feel much worse. Nothing gets in the way of anything I do. I just lose interest, and convince myself nothing will work, so, why bother. I'm not interested in anything. I don't try even. I have a strong feeling of hopelessness. I just stay home friendless and jobless.

Not sure how to advise. Depression happens sometimes and maybe what you are doing, embracing your depression, is all you need to do for yourself. When your mind becomes willing to take that next step, your body will follow
