Emotions are very powerful. They can ruin our lives if left unchecked. I am trying to control them, but have failed. I am very sensitive with high level of anxiety and deep depression. They say controlling our emotions is the key to control our lives. I agree, but it's not easy. Not easy.

Hey, I hope things turned around, or they will do for you soon. I get anxious over the smallest things. I’m taking about stuff, that wouldn’t even be an issue for anybody else. All too often, I hide out. It’s better to me, even though I know it’s really unhealthy. I wanted you to know “I get it” ... it’s not easy, or fun, but, your dealing. It takes gut x

I'm so sorry, Crazytwizted Emotions are definitely hard to deal with. You're definitely not alone in this. Do you see a therapist? Maybe that could help. You could learn new ways to cope with your emotions when they get too overwhelming. I'm so sorry, I know it's hard. Please don't give up. I hope you'll feel better soon. Is there anything we can do to help you? Please let us know. Remember that we're here for you if you need it. Feel free to PM me anytime. Let me know if I can do something to help you. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this

Depression and/or anxiety can do that to a person. Be gentle to yourself. Feeling torn between wanting to be social and wanting to crawl back under the covers is normal when at a low (mood) point. Whether it's chemical or environmental is worth discussing with someone within your medical support system.
And PC members are great for listening and getting things off your chest and whatnot. Sometimes just being heard, is enough.

I don't feel many emotions, and most of the time I feel are just simply boredom, anger, frustration, stress/anxiety sometimes and happiness when things go well in my life. I can cope with all these emotions, except for boredom and anger, but they don't affect me that much. I tend to do things I never pretended to do just for boredom, or impulsively attacked someone because of my anger.

I am dealing with a lot of anger right now.I posted for support here and one woman replied and totally invalidated my experiences. Now I am very upset, why do people do that?If they can't be supportive why don't they just keep their mouths shut. No one wants opinions when you are asking for support and nobody likes it when someone says,it was like this for me so it must be the same for you. Some moronic type of support that is!I am so very upset and angry and it has made a bad day worse.

Not that I know. I think the question should be if I have ASPD, which is my main concern but I don't want to get diagnosed with psychopathy/sociopathy (who would like to, especially if you're one?). Feelings of boredom and anger are common in sociopaths, and lack of several emotions/feelings (and lack of emotions towards other people) is a characteristic of both psychopaths and sociopaths. The fact of having to deal with boredom and anger and having no empathy at all for others is what leads me to question wether or not I'm a sociopath.

Anyways, I do have some narcissistic characteristics, but I never show them.

when I went to reply I thought this was going to be an easy question

but now that i'm actually replying, I realise that in a day I don't do anything (or anything of value)

I suppose that for me it affects my relationship with people. I can't be who they want me to be, and this is especially difficult with some people who can only look at emotions one way- and that's positive and happy

I can't just turn round to someone and say i'm happy if i'm not, I just can't do that. I have to say it how it is

also for me it prevents me from answering big questions

questions like who am I. what do I want in life.

Possible trigger:

but on the days where I do actually have something in mind, if I get depressed I think well **** it, it would have never worked anyway

know what I mean?

Today I felt low, sadness, lack of confidence and lack of motivation, everything I have tried so far I have failed at,today I recalled all my failure,it caused me to despair and I cancelled the film I was going to watch,I turned up for it but walked out 10 minutes in.I was severely depressed and had mood swings.

Today feeling low stopped me getting chores done.I kept putting them off and procrastinating.I also felt anxious and afraid so didn't want to do anything except sleep to escape my troubles.
