I made the mistake of ignoring all the ref flags and now I am feeling a little broken..these are what I ignored

1) talks about ex too much
2) bad mouth his ex
3) drinks too much
4) always saying he isn’t right in the head
5) Never treated me like a priority
6) wanted a relationship too soon and declared he loved me almost right away
7) dark past

There are more but these are the main ones. He declared his love fast and claimed he wanted us to last and how quickly he changed his tune saying I can’t force him to feel something he doesn’t...I am going to take some time to be single and heal. I don’t like how I keep allowing men into my life even after I spot red flags..

I’d say that you did a good job figuring red flags after only 3 months. You didn’t spend years and years of your life on this man. Few months is normal. People usually reveal themselves in few months if they are good pretenders, not everything is obvious right away. Be proud you figured him out.

Don’t beat yourself up. Be proud that you got rid of him

Well it was more like 5 months but yeah he showed his colors fast..I think he knew he couldn’t hide who he really was anymore. He started to show signs of being narcissistic also which I can’t deal with. He would lash out for no good reason..

As soon as he stopped hiding, you saw his true colors. Good for you
