I am always feeling so jealous (egoistic?) by seeing my colleagues without any reason. due to these feelings, my time is getting spoiled and I am not able to concentrate on my work. Even sometimes I am feeling jealous with my family members. How could I avoid feeling jealous? It is severely impacting me and quality of sleep. Your inputs would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

Set goals for yourself. I think jealousy has to do with them being where you want to be in life. So take solid steps to get there. Rather than think you can't figure out what you can do. Make an action plan. When you focus on what you can do rather than what you don't have your jealousy will wane.

Maybe it's related to an inferiority complex and so what you need to do is work on your self esteem.

Usually jealousy comes when we feel like there's something alcking in our lives that we see in other people. Perhaps it would be useful to analyze your feelings using this perspective. Can you recognize what exactly are you jealous about? About their work? Their romantic relationships? Anything at all? Try to give a thought to that. If you still can't figure it out I'm sure there are plenty of self-help books on the subject. You may look up for the best ones. You may even consider seeing a therapist if you feel like that's what you need. Wish you the best of luck with your decisions and your life! Hopefully you'll be able to use your energies to strive for better goals and improving yourself like Aviza said. I also agree with mote.of.soul about this being possibly related to your self-esteem. Just a thought. Keep fighting! Sending many safe, warm hugs to you, ppkspt, and to ALL the people you Love and who Love you!
