Especially when parents voice ''disappointment'' to the ''baby'' when old enough to absorb that.....that their new, perfect baby is the ''wrong'' sex for example which they expressed to me.. thanks a bunch for that (and all the other examples of a profound lack of appreciation, why bother having a cub  I would appreciate it if any replies are supportive of me, the OP, thanks (and not about telling me how I ''should'' feel etc)

I would take any cub you offered me--right now. Not sure how I would feed him or her, but I am sure I would figure it out eventually... I bet I would sleep better with a little cub.
I am so sorry if you felt I was being unsupportive, Fuzzybear. That was certainly not my intent. Or maybe that line was not for me? Anyhow, I hope you have a peaceful and pleasant day.

^This is a great saying I try to remember when I am disappointed. It greatly saddens me that some people have children and abuse them instead of loving them.

That's how I try to live. It's very hard for me though , and I've pretty much wasted a GREAT deal of time trying. All my life I've been hoping and waiting for that phrase or action that never comes. Good luck to you fuzzy

I learned (through sobriety) to make my needs known. And my expectations. When they arent met then I know the person doesnt care, wasnt listening or something else like that.
