what kind of social interaction did you get today?

A few messages and my mum dropped off a craft gift she made for me which was a lovely surprise. Talked on the phone to my parents tonight.

I had to do the bi-monthly shopping today and had a conversation about the weather though a mask and a plastic cover with the checkout lady. At the PO it was all business and no talk.

I played with the puppers today...kinda social interaction? I don't think it necessarily has to be human interaction. As far as humans go, I've very briefly saw my parents as they came in and out the door a few times. Hopefully when they wake up from their nap we'll all be a little more sociable.

Maybe I’m wrong but I think you meant puppets. Correct me.
I see it as a good practise for when this all stuff of the confinement ends up. lol!

I messaged a few people and did a quiz my friend made for us. I spoke by phone with my neighbour and stood by my elderly friend's door to talk a while from a distance while delivering a gift.

Oh, silly me. I couldn’t know it. Sorry. I didn’t know it was a cool way to name puppies.
English is not my first language and it’s clear I’m not a very advantage learner either.

Of course, puppies count. Such marvellous creatures. Who dares not to say something to them!

Texted and face timed my niece.

I called my grandma and we talked for about 20 minutes.

I went out to get the papers and mail, my sister and BiL drove up! I went in the got mum and we talked though the window. They came to drop off food and masks. That she had made.

I have to say proudly that I made a video call with my sister, my nephew and my niece.
The longest I ever made if I have something to compare with lol!
A big achievement taking into account that my anxiety reaches 10 out of 10 when I only have to speak on the phone. Yeeeeepe!

None to speak off. Over the years I have been cut off from the world at large which is part of my problem but I am content enough with being on my own. Not mixing at all with people at the moment and feel ok with that. I know the common mindset is, its good to talk and socialise, but not everyone fits that mold.

Just a couple of friendly hellos on my walk. That's okay.

With a person? I talk to my cat a lot. Does that count?

We will ask the cat for its opinion in all this matter. lol!

That’s more than ok! Small talk is literally a NightMAre.

I spoke to a volunteer friend whose family member is recovering slowly from covid, that was nice. Spoke to my sister to organise shopping arrangements for my parents. Chatted online with a friend which was nice.

My sister and BiL drove over to deliver books and food. We put her containers and our used books in the garage then came back in the house and they took their stuff and dropped off more food and used books for us. Then we talked though the Windows. Yay, new books and more of my sisters superior home cooked food. Weird way to socialize! But it was nice to see them.

She says "meow". But that usually means "feed me NOW!"

I spoke with my neighbour over through the fence and later made a call to a friend.

Spoke to my dad on the phone a couple of times which was great, went to the shop and made sure to thank the assistant, messaged with a couple of friends.
