Hell everyone.

My fiancé and I have been together for 6 wonderful years now. We have been engaged for 2 years. We have literally been the perfect couple. We never fight or argue about anything. But about 8 months ago my fiancé “Katie” has been working 65 hours a week every week. I was afraid she was over working and getting very stressed out. But that’s not the problem just kind of giving some clarity.

So 3 weeks ago she woke up one morning and her emotions was literally gone. Like love, caring, compassion. She does not want to touch the cats anymore, she doesn’t want nothing to do with anyone really. She doesn’t want to touch or hold or even hug me. She tells me she loves me but that’s it when it comes emotions. We have talked for hours trying to figure this out and she honestly doesn’t know what’s wrong. She is showing compassion by holding my hand or giving me a hug but she had to more or less force her self to do this. She does show signs of anxiety for the last year from some trauma she went through 8 years ago. But it’s not that bad. I am just so worried about her and what’s going to happen to us. Has anyone ever witnessed this before or been through it? I tried bringing out old pictures of us where we was having a lot of fun, brought our pics of when I proposed to her and both of us was crying in the pic and she had no emotion toward any of this. She can’t think of anything positive for the future. We were getting married in 5 months and she doesn’t even seem to care now. She’s going to see a therapist. Soon but it will be about a week before she can.
If anyone can please give me some information on this or any help how to bring her out of this, it would mean the whole world to me.
Hugs from:

Sorry you are both going through this - I don't have any experience of this and it would be unwise to speculate by internet but the main thing is she has an appointment and presumably this means she recognises she is behaving unusually.

It's wonderful you are supporting her but hope that you aren't carrying too much responsibility upon yourself when you write about 'bringing her out of this', because some things are beyond our control and supporting each other is all we can do.
