so, I have been asked if I wouldn't mind delivering a christmas card to someone- and this person (who's meant to get the card) has been nothing but horrible to me and treated me like **** and like I don't exist and am invisible

I have said that, and that she should deliver the card herself, but she said you do it... it will be nice

but I'm sat here with the card now wanting nothing more than to tear the ****ing thing up. they don't deserve a card, at all

what do I do
Hugs from:

I should add it's their card.

so in theory, they should deliver it because it's got their name on it. it's just weird
Thanks for this!

If you know the TO and FROM addresses, could you just mail it (without your info) and be done with it? When we ask others to do a task for us, we should expect that they might "do it their way". If the FROM person is unhappy with this, so what? Perhaps send it then tell them how you did it should they ask....

You don't have to do anything you don't want to do.

I would mail it myself and buy a nice one for myself. I love surrounding myself with festive cards around the holidays. Then again, I’m a sucker for gimmicks and cookies and pie, too. So, I’d be just as happy with a bag of Christmas chocolate covered pretzels.

I agree. What an odd request. I think mailing it is a good idea. If you know their address.

Is it possible for you to ask someone else to deliver it? Or perhaps simply insist with your FriEnd and tell her that you simply can't do that. So Sorry you found yourself in this situation. SEnding many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @raging vortex, your Family, your FriEnds and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!
