I don't know where to begin. Its in my thoughts. Its in my feelings. I wish I had a job. But I have no energy to look, plus I haven't worked in years and don't know how to start. I don't feel very connected to anyone. I do have friends but they aren't close friends. I live alone. Please don't recommend pets.

I got the vaccine yesterday so maybe it affected my mood. My therapist left the practice and now I'm seeing someone I don't prefer. I'm just tired. I'm overwhelmed. I'm sad. I want connection. I want ppl to care.

Dear WovenGalaxy,

I am so sorry you are feeling so poorly. Wish I knew what to say that would be helpful!

Thanks.

Today I went to the thrift store with my Mom. I found a ton of good books - ten. So if all else fails, I will lose myself in a good book.

Una, yes I do think this is probably pandemic related too. Sorry you're struggling too. I guess a lot if us are. That doesn't diminish the pain anyone feels. But yeah no more spaghetti!

I also discovered the Headspace episodes on Netflix. They're good. Someone here mentioned them, actually, and so I wanted to check them out.

I *am* signed up for a few classes - one in spring, one in summer. Which could eventually lead to a job If I keep taking classes or get a degree. I'm also looking into small PT jobs that are low stress, with alternative ways of finding support.

I think small PT jobs are a great idea, they'll give you an opportunity to build your confidence and skills. It can really knock ones confidence being out of the work place for a while.

I consider you a friend! I bet lots of people do too - but this last year has left so many of us feeling disconnected.

I’m definitely dealing with some pandemic fatigue as well, my area has a very high rate of vaccination among the most vulnerable groups so I’m thinking of venturing out again. But I don’t know maybe I shouldn’t. Anyway I am glad you found some good books at the thrift store, I love books as well. I’m gonna go spend a bookstore gift card I got.
