Last Friday (the 19th of July) we had my wife's nephew, his wife and their daughter over for dinner and games.


The night went well. I made dinner, and they appeared to like the asparagus and the bacon chicken meal I made. We played a new (to me) version of Catan afterward (Traders and Barbarians- we choose the "fisherman of Catan" variation).


The last time I was with them, we talked about his wife's family- her parents and siblings have some issues... this time I was able to share with them what my family was/is like.

Some other things that went well.
1. I had lunch with the same nephew today.

2. I just got back from a 3 day boy scouts camping trip. My son and I had some good father/son time, and I had some good interactions with 2 people.

Last Saturday we (my wife, son and I) were invited to a colleague of my wife's for the day, along with several other people who work with my wife. It was a good time- we played frisbee, went on a pontoon boat ride, ate some good food, and had some good conversation. I spent quite a bit of time talking with a Vietnam vet about his experiences (he brought it up- and I'm also a veteran (2003-2011)). My son had a great time swimming and interacted well with the other kids.

I'm not sure why, but it was a really good morning. My wife and son were in a good mood, and we laughed and joked around as we all got ready for the day. Then we had a group hug and kisses all around before my wife and son left the house.

I went and played 18 "holes" of disk golf. It was a beautiful morning- I was the only one there, and I played a pretty good game (that means I didn't lose any disks today!).

Toastmaster's went fairly well yesterday- I tried a new role- that of grammarian- and I did a good job.

I had lunch today with a friend I haven't seen in a while.... It went pretty well- he let me know he's excited about my plans for the future. We hope to meet up again soon- our boys have a good time together.

I joined the library, which is something I have wanted to do for a while

this year (on febuary 28th), marks 1 year since I've been abused in a physical nature. it was a big day for me, as it was something I never thought I'd see

emotional abuse is still a huge part of my life, but it's still a good result

It wasn't all good- but my son and I tried a new-to-us disc golf course. Then we met some old friends for dinner- good food- some good conversation.

today while I was in the shop the woman behind the counter took a genuin interest in how I was, and had a laugh with me.

no one ever stops to talk to me. I really apreciated it

My son and I tried out another new-to-us disc golf course. And I own my own business and am planning a trip for mid-October- A trip that will mix business and pleasure.

I had a good time tonight at an outdoor concert- with my son. There have been some tensions between me and another person, and I made an effort to sit near her and talk with her- and she was actually pretty friendly. It's tough sometimes to know how people are going to act- I'm glad I took a chance.


I also had a good time recently marching in a Pride Parade- it's the first time I publicly gave my support. Pride parade - Wikipedia

I went in for an interview for a volunteer position, and it went well. I start training next week. Then I played 18 holes at a disc-golf course, and after that, I met my wife for lunch.

Over the weekend, I hosted a philosophy meet up, and I talked at length about metaphysics, including some things from Plato's dialogue Phaedo. I felt really good talking about those things.

My son and I played 8 holes of disc golf with 2 of his friends from school and their mom. A pretty good time just hanging out. The kids played at the playground for a while, as well.

Last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday were good. Friday I found out I was going on vacation. Saturday was the last time work has gone good. Sunday was my day off and I got some shopping done at the mall. All 3 days I just felt fine and my anxiety and moods were fine unlike these past 3 days.

I had a pretty good couple of days- it's our 20th wedding anniversary and the 3 of us (me, wife and son) went back to where my wife and I honeymooned 20 years ago. It was a good trip- good food- interesting sights- good conversation.


This morning I was playing a pretty good game of disc golf and someone walking by noticed my good shot and congratulated me.

I just booked a flight, hotel room and car rental for a trip to Houston in mid-October. My printer is working well- I'm printing out some articles I must read for class.

I am on day 4 without any absences...

Saturday was my last good day. I didn’t feel exhausted and I had a good day at work.
