Hello again,
Went to therapy for the second visit. T feels very confident that I will see some results. I have been on Klonopin and it seems to help somewhat, but not to the extent that I would like. Anyway she added Cymbalta for a kicker, Has anyone tried it. I am a little concerned due to the fact that it raise BP of which I due have and it is sometimes high.
Thanks

Hi- I have been taking Cymbalta for awhile now and i haven't seemed to have any bad side effects from it. My pdoc is very vigilant about my BP and he checks it every time i come in since mine tend to be a little borderline high but so far it has been ok. Hope this helps.

Beware: cymbalta has nasty withdrawl symptoms, and I'd advise that you don't take it on an empty stomach; in the past it's caused me some nausea, but that's just me.

Other than that, I haven't had any problems with cymbalta, and the things i've mentioned above are preventable. Hope I helped Cymbalta

good luck!

Hi, Donsky & Oksomaybeimnuts:

Please read my post #122561, posted 3-05-05 in Health Support. It's in "High Blood Pressure" thread by Ryan.

I almost had a stroke due to false confidence in good blood pressure readings at the doctor's office. My post explains why some people also need to check their BP at home and immediately after exercise. You might be one of those people, especially if you're taking a medication that tends to raise blood pressure.

Adieu
