Hi everyone, I'm not entireley sure how to put what I need help and advice on without it coming accross the wrong way, so I'm just going to type this as it comes into my head.
I'm currently a student at University (the term has ended but my accomodation is 50week contract so I am still living in student accomodation) over the past year I have had a few very low point regarding failing some of my modules for University, including dealing with the illness and death of my grandfather, and the recent illness of my grandmother, I was untill recently in a stable relationship, and that support helped me cope in the short term. But as of the last 2-3 weeks that has changed, and I feel like I need to escape the expectations of others, including family. so I was hoping there is somewhere I would be able to go to stay for a week or so, just to escape my current surroundings and my family back home, so that I can find the space I need to deal with how I am feeling right now without feeling that I am being a burden on those closest to me. As I am a student and not employed I have very little money to my name, so finding somewhere to stay would be difficult, I was hoping to find some solid advice on how to do that here. thanks for reading. |

Hi Lazarou...
![]() Depending on where you want to go, and where you're located, you could check in to staying at a Hostel. I think you still have to pay, but they can be relatively inexpensive, especially if you'll just be there a week. You can do an on-line search and look up Hostels in your area, or where ever you'd like to go. Good luck to you!! ![]()

Could you go to a friend's house? That might not be total sanctuary, but it would take you out of your present surroundings. A youth hostel is also another place you could look into. You would have to factor in the expense for transportation, too. Good Luck. Sending good thoughts your way. Have a good trip.
