Yes, I've felt that way many times. Had to go to the hospital once when I expressed it...the no light at the end of the tunnel part. It does get better, then worse, then better...and it feels endless. Been at it for almost 30 years, but I only started meds a year ago. I still have hope that they'll find the right combo for me and that talk therapy will help if I give it enough time. For some people a chemical imbalance causing depression, bipolar, or whatever is a life long issue. It never goes away but it can be treated so that it interferes with your life much less. Some report total remission, but need to stay on their meds to prevent a relapse.
Sorry you're going through it right now. I'm depressed too. But I know things will get better and I know those who love me don't want me to give up. There are people in your life too who care about you. So don't give up the fight. Call one of your docs or therapist and let them know you need to do something different because you're (overwhelmed, sad, depressed, etc.). They're there to help you. And we're here for you too. ![]()
