Today and one day at a time, I will try to enjoy every moment, every flower I see, every smile of every child or old person I see, every laugh I hear, instead of cringing at those sights and sounds, I will remember the way I used to feel. I have heard that I have to fake it till I make it, and that is what I intend to do. I will not let depression get the better of me anymore...hopefully....Life is too short and why should I let the depression rob me of what is rightfully mine just like it is rightfully ours, all of us...

After writing this I feel a bit like a fool, but I will fake it till I really feel it and I wish you all the same, one day at a time

Still faking it, still trying very hard to be positive but the anxiety sometimes is overwhelming!
But I will make it, one day at a time!

at least you think its too short! thats... something? hopefully a part of your thinking that hasnt been taken over by depression yet. i try to appreciate things but i cant, great to hear that you can sorta... remember and look forward and stuff though.
hope you dont have to try so hard to be positive sometime soon,

Your efforts count...recognizing there are ways to help yourself is extremely important.
My own experience is that some days I had to try and be positive for 10 minutes, or an hour, that a whole day felt overwhelming to me. If I reduced the time, it helped.
I know those 10 minutes added up, but it was still what I could handle at the time.

Still faking it, will be going out to sit in the sun (Have to force myself, hard to believe from a sun worshipper like me!) but it is a beautiful day and I will try to see the beauty which is free for the taking....with a good book (I havent been able to read lately!)
The anxiety is just so crippling...but I keep hoping, at least I have hope for now!

Thank you for sharing and for reaching out. I know it is hard but you are taking a step. Reaching one moment at a time is important. Taking it in little strides--5 minutes at a time if you need to. Maybe even one minute or second at a time is something.

I know how anxiety is and yes it is crippling at times. But you are doing it and that is something to be commended. I hope sitting in the sun will help you. Please be kind to yourself. Do something good for you. If you make it even one minute today----that is something to be rewarding about.

You are worth it and knowing how hard you are trying is so wonderful. Hope is good and faking it is okay. Just please take care of you. Remember we are here for you always and that we are your friends.

Depression lies to us and fighting it to put it back in its place is so important. You are worthy of good and being happy. Keep pushng forth and know that we are here to encourage and support you. Even if it gets to be too much----you did your best.

We are here for you and are listening. Thank you for sharing. Sending you a gentle hug and hoping your day has sunshine filled moments. We care.

The anxiety has taken over but I will keep on going, I have no choice, very hard to change when all I want to do is lie in bed but...
