Play Me!

I don't know what is wrong with me. I am so low. I have good things in my life, but it doesn't seem to matter. I just keep getting lower and lower and lower and lower.

Definitely sounds like depression. This illness of ours may be triggered by an external event (or not), but it has a life of its own little or not at all affected by our circumstances.

If you have a broken leg, I can bring you flowers, but you're still going to have a broken leg.

I'm glad for you, Berries, that you have things in your life you recognize as good. When the depression lifts, even only a little, those good things may comfort you.

Oh, and thank you for being one of the good things in the lives of the people who share this forum!

I've been thinking and I think I might need to start taking an AD.

I was on one but got taken off it and things seem worse now.

I also have NOTHING to do.

So, I am in the midst of applying for 2 partime volunteer jobs (each would be once a week for an hour or so).

I see my pdoc on 9/8.

I don't know when I'll start the volunteer jobs. They say within the next 6 weeks!! Can my mood wait that long????? (actually I am SCARED to start them--but will do it nonetheless)

Thank you for everyones support. It just hurts, ya know??? But knowing you all are here for me HELPS. Thank you.

Sorry you are feeling so low, I know how it goes. It has been so long for me to see a high I don't know how to get there. I can only pray for us all on PC that some day we will get to feeling better. Lots of hugs for you and everyone on PC.
Thanks for this!
