Today I feel a tiny bit more like my old self.
Small steps but I washed my car (did a horrible job) but I did it.
I will try to do a little bit everyday in the hope of regaining my old self.
After washing the car and my patio, I am now shaking so badly just like if I had run the marathon, ah well, small steps......
I will keep on trying even if....I am so scared, still paralyzed but moving a bit....small step in the right direction hopefully....
Thanks for this!

This is going to sound even more stupid but I finally washed my bedroom window that I have been looking through for at least a month now and it was full of spider webs, etc...it has been bothering me for a while now and just washing it makes me feel better....how low can you get when just washing a few things makes you feel better???? but somehow I am going to continue with these small steps and maybe that is the way to go.... At this point I will try anything....
Thanks for this!

That's great
Washing/cleaning stuff gives an incredible sense of achievement to me, too. Especially after a long period of not moving a finger housework-wise...

Keep up the good work

I'm shaking today a lot, too. Too many shocks in too few days. Too many internal battles being fought.

Symbolically, what you've done are almost archetypal chores. Cleaning the car: Making the mode of traversing your world (inner and outer?) more pleasant. Cleaning the patio: Clearing the way back into your own home (consciousness?). Washing a window: Clarifying your (inner and outer) view of the outside world.

You should be proud of yourself. You done good.
Thanks for this!

Not to be redundant or trite, but:

"A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Lao-tzu (Chinese philosopher 604 BC-531 BC)

A little or a lot, progress is progress.

I got one thing done the other night and felt really good about it. My hope was to get three things done, but even one was better than none. So I get it. It helps some. Great job getting several things done. That's a lot of work.
Thanks for this!

Today I went to my T and had a good session and then visited with my daughter and I believe I was able to support her through problems she is having, I was able to comfort her without freaking out, a great victory for me. One step at a time, one minute at a time, one day at a time I will keep on trying.
Thanks for this!

Good on you! That's all any one of us can do. At least that's how I do it. And sometimes I have to remind myself it's just in the "TRYING" on some days - I try but don't succeed as I wanted, but that's okay too, at least I tried.

Can't stop you from praying and blessing me,
and if that makes you feel better feel free.
But keep it to yourself please, don't tell me.
And let's all respect each other's feelings.
With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings."
