Friends???

So, I'm in a real bad place tonight. Switched off pm's, visitor messages, deleted "friends". (One stubborn little sweetie kicked right back with a friend request, right after I deleted her, and I didn't have the heart to say no!)

No point to this post other than to say...please don't be offended if you're one of the folks reading this who got deleted...everyone did!

Just know that I feel what you mean.......as I often feel the same......but I keep coming back.......for closeness is something that I find overwhelming, but necessary in my journey to peace......

Think little of it.......it comes and retreats many times over......just know that we are here.......no matter.

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one! It's rare I feel like this but when I do...I cut off my nose to spite my face.

When I became your friend - no reference to the formal request process that's part of the forum software, it implied accepting you being your unique self, including your own ways of being down.

I realize that "selfish hissy fit" may appear on one side of the coin, but "critical coping method" may be stamped on the other. What you describe as a "hissy fit" (love that phrase, by the way) served a purpose, perhaps a critical purpose in guarding your sanity and safety. I can think of much darker investments of your energy. I thank you for instead unfriending me. The electronic expression of friendship always be restored.
