I can't think straight. So this whole forum thing just makes my head hurt more, makes things worse. I can't find the right place to post, have to worry about what NOT to post in certain forums, and I happen to have multiple topics to talk about in a single post.
To make a long story short, I don't know what to do. Maybe I was rushing myself when I came here, it seems pointless to be here. I don't know what to pinpoint in terms of "what to talk about". I have too many personal problems that I feel as if I need to talk to someone about...because I can't talk to anyone about them here, in real life. Don't have the mental strength or the resources...and I don't even know if my parents would like me being here or not.

Just too damn overwhelming...

Is this Jadell Leigh? I found a posting on deviant art and wondered if this was you.
I too often feel overwhelmed by things but I try my best to tackle one issue at a time, chipping away at the much in hopes a lotus blossom will emerge some day.

You can post what you wish here without worrying about anyone judging you and if you want, feel free to PM me and we can talk through those.

We're here to help.
Chris

I'm going to be horribly blunt. Because I'm blunt. And because I feel as if it is necessary.

Posts like this do not help me, do not comfort me and piss me off.

And yes, I am Jadell Leigh, Lenighma, from deviantART.
Thanks for allowing me to PM you, though. Maybe I will, I don't know...

That's fine, you can be the way you want and choose to take it in whatever way you wish though I was only offering a bit of compassion and a smittering of possible understanding. Asalaamu Alaikum.

Good Day, Lenighma!

Despite the fact I've been posting here at PsychCentral several months, I still feel a bit intimidated by the size of the site. I spend most of my time in the Depression forum and make short "excursions" into some of the others.

I'm sorry you are feeling overwhelmed, although that's very understandable. You've mentioned you're a perfectionist - you want to make sure you're posting in the "right" place. In the unlikely event one of your posts is really in the "wrong" place, the moderators are kind and helpful - they'll move your topic to the most appropriate forum with a link so everyone can find it.

The important thing is you find the kind of support you need at this time, especially when you don't feel comfortable speaking freely with family members about some of these issues.

Wishing you a successfully supportive experience!

You're welcome. Most of the time trying is about the best I can do. Few people have all the answers but we do have knowledge from our own experiences in life.

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
