I feel extremely ....almost ill.
After you have been through an extremely pressured, anxitiy ridden, emotional experiance...do you ever awaken the next day feel like crap? Almost hung over with the headache and like you are displaced some how and nauseaous and like you did not sleep even though you did? I am feeling horrid after the emotional experiance of being tried and pressured. ![]() |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I know EXACTLY how you feel. It's an emotional hangover. The best remedy is doing something kind for yourself, I think, like taking a walk or a warm bubble bath. Sending lots of hugs. ![]()

yup
I get those too - they amount of time they last for me is completely dependent on how upset I was. I find that keeping myself hydrated helps. And justfloating has a very good point. Be kind to yourself. Sending hugs ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I also experience those. Some times to the point of being physically ill (not as much now as when I was a kid.) I tend to spend the next day in a sort of fog. I hope you feel better soon.

Absolutely! It can take up to a week for me to recover sometimes. If at all possible, I nuture the after effects by staying in bed and being kind to myself. Easier said than done though.

Absolutely! Crying definitely doesn't make me feel better for that reason, and being mad gives me a headache!

Being too stressed often can make me physically ill. I hope you aren't getting the flu. Please take care of yourself, relax, rest, eat well and simply be nice to you as much as you are able.

With kindness, support and "sweet dreamings." ![]() |

Oh Thank you so much. I have been feeling really bad. Can not stop thinking about the whole Car buying, attempted car buying, experiance. I just felt so horrid yesterday. When people yell at me and belittle me and call me an idiot (rather directly or indirectly) it just seems I revert to an inward place very tightly, emotionally. Bad things come up and it is so intense that I can not look people in the eye and well it is just real bad. People start talking around me and for me and about me like I am no there or even in the room or just an insignificant stupid person.
I really hate feel ing this I really, really do. I felt so emotionally sick from it all yesterday. I could not function at all. Kinda half way in my body and half way out...weak, tired, shamed and wanting to hide. Oh well I will move on and get over it. |

I can definitely relate. I was in an abusive relationship and had many nights filled with humiliation and horror and always ended in my dissolving into tears.
The next day was always so awful.
