I'm so sorry life and illness has gotten you so down. I am sending you lots of good thoughts and hugs.

Hello,
Just wanted to ask-what do you do for the deep depression that the holidays are causing? I am sinking deeper by the day. I don't want to be around friends or family. I had to make an effort for Thanksgiving. I have some very deep thoughts that I am having a hard time fighting. If it was not for psychcentral keeping me busy-I find it helps to reach out to others in need. I know a lot of us have a hard time right now. I was wondering if antidepressents can just quit working? I don't want to run to the hospital everytime there is a holiday. Thank you, Cathy

Yes antideprssents can stop working. I had to switch to another antidepressant after mine stopped working.
