Everyone on that teenage depression list I can tick off. I've been like this for three years and now everything shows. I'm finally getting help in seven days though I feel like letting go as theres too much to deal with. I know hang in there! Hang in where? Seems hard to think twice about stuff every time. Some one give me anti-depressants please I want something to swollow and give me a boost instead of falling down into this continous empty dark black whole!

I'm 17, suffered from depression for 3 years (diagnosed by doc). I know it is tough and I really don't have much advice. I just want you to know that meds arn't going to fix everything. Yes they do help, and I am VERY thankful for them, but there is a lot you will have to work on. I've been in therapy for 3 years and have seen you lately on the SI section so I know what you are going through. I have a long way to go and truthfully I don't know if I'll ever be 'normal'. I just want you to know that it is going to be a lot of work on your part even with the meds. Keep going though. I have wanted to end everything so many times and realized that even through suffering I have been able to keep my friends heads up and keep them from sinking into the depths where I am. I try to keep in mind how many people I help, that is what keeps me going. I hope I have helped you some. Good luck.

Thanks for advice. It's just I didn't have a clue I was depressed until I starting seeing a consellor. Only six days until I have my first session in therpy. It's just three years is a lot for anyone to cope with everything. I might as well have anti-depressants for a couple of days. Just so much people aspect from others these days a caring family, trust worhty friends, a respectful boyfriend and a loving pet. All these I don't have right now and I'm going to work towards them. For anyone that hasn't been through depression, which I think most people have once in their lifes. If you shut your eyes, its like a continous dark black whole and your falling and falling non stop. Now open you eyes back up and look at the world today. Sorry I don't want anyone to get upset but depressions seems to wake me up though I won't give up! It's Teenage Depression alright! (pos trig)
