OKay, well Im doing this thing now with my friend, barely eating, taking diet supplements and only I puke cause she just can't, its like impossible for her and exercising EXESSSIVELY, Im so sore but i feel so good tho. Ive lost almost 10lbs,. so I don't know if I wanna stop thats the thing, is it bad i got into this and I feel HORRIBLE that im getting my friend back into anorexia, but I can't do it without her....We need the support from eachother, she pushes me, not forcfully but in a supportive way top do things I feel to fat to do....She makes me feel good about myself and I feel absolutely disguted by my selfishness. I just dont know what I shopuld do, I need the support and help, but I know she might be harder to snap out of this anorexia thing than me. :S

I have no feeling to be sad anymore!!!!!! Yay

This really is a double edged sword. I understand your desire to lose weight and look good, but I think you're going about it the wrong way. I think it's great you guys have this plan to get fit together, but can you maybe subsitute the not eating and purging with exercise and healthy diet? You're going to run yourself into the ground and start to feel very weak if you're starving yourself and constantly working out. There's nothing wrong with losing weight, but you may get yourself in over your head and to a place where you can't turn back.

Brennan,
I think that you could be heading down a disasterous path, you can do all of the healthy stuff without puking. Can you speak to anyone at the gym about the behavior? I hope you can both talk to someone about it that can help you.

I agree the 1 and only successful way to lose weight is through healthy eating and regular(not exxessive) exercise. I happy you're feel inspired but diet pills aren't good and can make you feel manic.

I think what you're doing is unhealthy, and in a way can easily backfire. The type of crash-dieting that you're doing is not going to be able to last forever and then you will quickly gain back the weight you've lost. You're not really allowing your body to develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime. I'd rather take longer to lost weight (if I needed to lose weight) and keep it off and feel healthy than lose weight super fast just to gain it all back.

There's all kind of other issues about self-esteem and self-harm that could be going on here, but I have had a few body issues myself and the thing that made the most difference to me was my father, who is medically trained, explaining to me how I was hurting myself and actually going against want I wanted to accomplish by crash-dieting/starving myself/overexercising.
