I don't feel horrible but I don't feel good either. I guess I'm just trying to learn how to ride out the bad times. Any suggestions?

Suggestion one: Find a therapist.

Suggestion two: Ask for meds.

Suggestion three: Love yourself!

If you don't already see a T, you should definitely consider it. If you already do then you need to find some hobbies to distract yourself. Try going to a Michael's Craft Store or Hobby Lobby or something like that and find something there. If you're not very crafty then try music, art, photography, animals, volunteering, anything to get you out of the house and thinking about anything besides your problems. Good luck!

Hi Justme,

Take comfort in the thought that all things must pass.

justme41,

I agree with denny8er.

Things will get better.

Try to focus upon the positive things in your life. If nothing real positive or interesting is happening, focus on simple pleasures. (Go for the healthy ones) A relaxing or vigorous walk, sporting events playing &/or watching, gardening, crafts, baking, volunteering at United Way (or nursing home, whatever), etc. There are lots of activities out there completely free & make people feel good.

I wish that I could download my list...there's 270 something activities! Sit and watch clouds float by; pick up litter; coloring books; word search puzzle; etc. Anyone have others to add? Perhaps someone here has that link...

Hope things improve for you soon!
