i feel so unloved , empty inside , i dont know what to do

I can understand you feel this way, I think depression can give us such negative attitudes and thoughts, but often these negative thoughts aren't true.
I just read on your profile that you have 5 children and a grand daughter... are you a part of their lives? Why do you think they don't love you? I'm sure you're a lot more loved than you realise, but the depression puts a negative slant on things and you can't realise. I'm not critisising you, I feel the same. I often think "I have nobody" and I lately have had a hard time thinking that my mum doesn't like or love me... but I do think that's the voice of depression. Because we think we don't deserve to be loved, we think we're so terrible that nobody could possibly even like us... but again, that's depression. I'm sorry you feel empty. Are you in therapy or on any medication? It would perhaps help you to talk things over with somebody. Just remember depression doesn't last forever. With the right help, and some determination, I think things can improve. I know it's not easy, I'm struggling too... but I hope it helps you to know you're not alone. |

I feel that way alot too hopelessness is one of the worst things about depression because fearing your gonna have it forever and nothing will change consumes you at times. its so hard to not think about it im struggling with it everyday but i gotta tell you my bf helps me alot. xx

Yeah its like all of the pain I feel is so deep inside that no one else can see it. Its like..being locked up in a basement somewhere in the desert getting whipped 24/7.
