Woke up with too much anxiety. So much to do today. Feeling down.
I wish I felt more capable. I will keep pushing forward. Sometimes I wish things weren't so hard.

Sorry you're struggling ((Elana05)). Take some slow deep breaths and make a list with the priorities at the top. Take it one thing at a time and near the end of the day, reward yourself. You don't have to do everything and that's okay. Good luck.

I've had a lot of days like those lately myself. I've been taking deep breaths and getting out for some walks. Been focusing on only one thing at a time and not trying to take on too much. Sending good wishes your way. Hang in there.
Thanks for this!

Thanks so much lynn P. and Fresia. I will remember to take those deep breaths. I am so glad the sun is out today. I got to the hardware store and had some wood cut to help brace the air-conditioner. The day before yesterday I even installed it almost all by myself. I didn't ever give myself credit for doing that. I can work to get things done around the house - but since I'm not working right now I feel like it's never enough. I guess that's the part I wish I felt more capable in... deep breath. I know I'll get there. Thanks again.

I have the same trouble sometimes feeling guilty for not working, and like I need to be doing something constantly. It's hard for me to just sit and relax because I feel guilty that I am not cleaning or doing work of some kind. I still struggle with this myself so I don't have any answers, but just try not to be too hard on yourself and take things one step at a time. I recently had a long to-do list. I didn't get it all done in one day or even two, but if I manage to get one or two major things done a day then eventually I get through them all, and that's okay too.
Thanks for this!

Perhaps picking up meditation would help you be more serene when you feel anxious.

Hi Elana05, congrats on the air conditioner. I know I would be proud of myself if I could do that and you actually did do it. So I'm proud of you for you. Hope you feel better, shaggy

Also for me, exercise really helps when I am feeling super anxious. I am sorry it is so hard, I can sympathize. I hope you get to feeling better soon.

Hi Elana05----I am hoping along with all the others that you will feel less pain
as time goes by.

Anxiety is a big barrier for me also-----breathing, and staying in the moment helps for me----------------sending you hugs--theo
