I know this is silly but I feel so annoyed and disappointed right now.

There's a show I watch and I knew the grande finale had been on and so I have been avoiding going onto facebook because I'm still a few seasons behind and I don't want to be told how it ends, but I just checked into facebook quickly and I accidently read a very important part of what happens in the show in someone's status update, and I just feel kind of gutted.

I've been following this show for years and they just ruined the end for me I was so excited to find it out for myself, you know??

Why do people insist on doing that? So many people will spoil things. I know this is negaitve but it makes me so angry towards people, can't they be considerate??

I just feel particularly disappointed right now, I just feel like "what's the point?", I ENJOY this show and now part of that excitement has been taken from it and I feel so angry at this person, why did they have to update their status with how it ends???!?! Why?!

I hate when that happens. It seems like no matter how hard you try to avoid spoilers it is impossible. I hate when I want to avoid knowing the ending of even the most recent movie and there is someone just waiting to yell from the rooftops not only the ending but all the good parts. shaggy

Thanks Shaggy. I just felt so disappointed, I don't know why people don't think before they talk about the ending of shows or films, of course not everybody will have seen it yet - it just seems to selfish!
My mum told me that a lot of people do this with the harry potter books, they will read it and then post the ending and spoilers online for people to accidently stumble upon. It's quite cruel.

But also keep in mind that these people probably arent TRYING on PURPOSE to take away your enjoyment from the TV series. They didnt do it with the intention of upsetting you Lisa...

Yes Sophie, you are right. I was just angry because it's not nice to NOT be aware that other people might not have seen it. I was talking to a friend about it earlier and I do realise that this person just didn't give a thought that people might not have seen it and would be upset to be told how it ends. I'm trying not to be so annoyed.
Thanks for your comment/perspective x
