The situation with my Dad has not improved . He is gone on a three week vacation with his new girlfreind . I am all alone in the dark and although I met someone recently , she is not here tonight and I'm having strong suicidal thoughts . I just wanted to let you know how I'm feeling as I have nobody else to turn to , and it hurts. God, it hurts.

I'm sorry you feel alone ((Naturefreak)). Remember these are only thoughts and they never have to be reality. Think about the special lady you found and how she would feel. Does humor help when you're like this or does it feel impossible to laugh?

Oh, I'm very sorry you are scared & alone right now. I've been there, alone in the dark as you say you are, and it is a bad place to be. If you can't be with anyone, please turn on some lights at least. I find that sometimes helps me.

Please know you are not alone. A lot of people here care about you. I know what is like to feel so alone..but you and I both need to try & hang on to what we've got. You are a good person.

They get to us....they just do. Some people aren't happy unless they've made someone else feel bad. They are the ones with a problem.

Just my perspective: Cruel, heartless people exist. They deliberately harm others, sometimes with strength and weapons, sometimes with words. The former are harmful to the body, the latter to the spirit. As the body and spirit are “connected,” harm to one frequently entails harm to the other.

Asking why you let the cruel “get to” you is a bit like asking, “Why did I let that robber’s fired shot enter my abdomen?”

The cruel like to torment. They delight in manipulating others’ thoughts, leading their victims to believe they are responsible for or deserve their suffering.

Naturefreak, you face depression within, and a heartless one without. Is there any way to reduce this to a one-front war?

yeah i believe so too. what is their purpose in life n what can we gain from such encounters ???? i think that we learn from everythingwe face but such hateful people teach us what exactly????
