You are not alone at all koalabb123456. I feel that way a lot. It's the worst thing - trying to explain to people that you are not feeling particularly sad, just... blank. Some days you could tell me that I'd won the lottery or that my town had been hit by a meteorite, I'd just shrug either way.
Like butterflyangel says, I wish I could tell you a special way to feel better. I hope coming here helps you. We are here for you. |

You are not alone. I think this is probably a common feeling in depression, and it's a horrible one to have. Unfortunately, I don't have anything I could tell you that'd make you feel magically better. :/ I wish I did!
![]() I hope you find the things in your life that make you feel whole and good, and I hope you'll keep posting here whenever you feel the need to. |

There are two things that help me feel warmth and drive away the empties. My pets and volunteering. The pets are the greatest. Two cats and a dog. One cat is an absolute pest about snuggling. Sometimes I feel like a sponge just soaking up their love and acceptance.
The volunteering has some stress involved, but it gets me out with people who are warm and who don't seem to notice (or care) how weird I am.

I feel that way as well. It's common. Having my dog helps a lot. Makes me wanted and needed. I also do volunteer work but I find it hard to do it when I am not feeling well. Maybe you could volunteer and a pet shelter? Just do something ... however little or insignificant it may appear.
