Got hit hard with my anxiety today. I was doing okay until after I saw my psych. She put me on some new med.'s and refilled some of the old. The problem is that I am flat broke. I can't even afford my sons med.s and his are essential to his life. I don't know what to do. We were suppose to get a refund from a company that over charged us. But it has yet to hit. I feel like every little noise or movement is going to make me explode. Like I just want to wild, yell, throw things then curl up in a ball and cry. If that money doesn't come in tomorrow.............. I know this probably sounds stupid, but I am really scared....no terrified things are going to get worse. I need a job, but I can't get that until I get my depression under control. But first I have to get the money to get them. uuuuuuuuuugggggggggggggggggg.

Oh Lord, Butterfly, you really are in a bind. If money's really tight and your annual income is very small, for many meds you can apply to their makers and get them free. The first thing to do is to get on the net and use a search engine to find the "official" website for the particular drug(s) you're after.

Then go through that official site very, very carefully, because a lot of the time the makers don't really want to advertise the offer of free meds. But if you look, you will find. And you'll be able to download an application form that is first filled out by you, with a separate section to be filled out by the doctor who prescribed the drug for you. They will normally ask for copies of your most recent income tax return as proof that you come within their standards. You send them all the completed documents and they will send the free meds either to you or to your doctor. If to your doctor, then you'll pick them up at his/her office. Refill prescriptions are then sent to the makers by your doctor. After a year you have to reapply with your new tax return. A lot of hoops to jump through, but it's really worth it. My wife and I wouldn't have made it without these free meds from many different companies. If you have any questions, just send me a personl message and I'll respond. I do very much hope that things get better for you. We're in Florida too and have been for a very long time. Take care!

I know that feeling. Maybe exploding in some way would help you. If you're about to burst better do it in a controlled way then just ... exploding. Maybe tearing paper/items that are not worth anything could help. Personally also ranting in a journal helps a lot.

I know the cycle all too well - job = money for treatment but job REQUIRES treatment and health. I'm lucky - my parents are here to take care of me financially. Keep trying, getting better is the most important *hugs*
