For all that I have been looking forward to vacation, it also is really hard. I don't see anyone because everyone goes on vacation somewhere else. I don't have money to do that. So I just spend my time in my apartment. My sleep schedule gets totally screwed up. Again! I spent most of the night awake last night, and then most of today asleep. I had dreams about being tired and not able to stay awake. I hate my life. That has been what has come from this summer. I hate my life.

I'm sorry Googley. My suggestion is that staying inside all day is a huge sleep and mood killer. I have been stuck in that place before.

((((Googley))))

I understand about the sleep schedule. My body is still stuck on when I worked the night shift almost five years ago. I sleep a little while then I am awake. When I don't get enough sleep, I feel bad and get upset very easily. Vacation to me usually means trying to catch up on housework, then I get depressed about that and take nap.

Googley, is it usual for you to have your days and nights "flip" during times when schedules are suspended? Have any of your caretakers ever discussed circadian rhythms with you?

Wishing you refreshing sleep whenever you can get it!

I have always been a night owl. But I have never had this much trouble before. It just seems to flip after one night. There was a hard time with the heat that it flipped before earlier this summer, and I don't know if I really got it securely back from that. I've never had this much free time that is unstructured. I used to stay up really late on school breaks as a kid and never wanted (and still don't want to) wake up in the morning.
Thanks for this!
