I have been so unsure about things lately. My husband has been sending me mixed signals. At first he says he not sure heis in love with me. He has been so secretative about things. Not disappearing aor anything, but certain calls and then trying to get me to do things i am not sure i am ready to do. We have been so financially tight that i can't afford to get my med.s. Then all of a sudden he somebody owes us money and he gets me to go out for the evening. What am i to think. What is going on.

On top of telling he didn't want to give me false hopes in case our lives end up going seperate ways. Then two days ago he grabs my hand because he thought he said something to upset me. I pulled away quickly turning and leaving quickly. I didn't want to feel and let him set me up for another fall. I keep wondering if he is going to set me up for a disasterous conclusion to our relationship, is feeling pity for me, or is he truely in love with me and just doesn't want to admit to it and doesn't want me to know (like he is trying to force me to change into something I can't change into).

Am I reading to much into what is going on. I wish I could see into his mind to know and be sure.

Hi, Butterflyangel!

Just My Opinion: It's not your imagination; your husband is sending you mixed signals. It is genuinely confusing.

Speculation: It is relatively more likely that the source of the mixed signals is your husband's inner turmoil and personal confusion -- whatever their source. It is relatively less likely your husband is deliberately trying to confuse you.

Cautionary Note: The above comments are those of someone (me) who freely admits severe lack of confidence in discussing relationship issues.
