Hi friends, I really wish I could post something positive so I'll just wish all of you wellness and serenity. Today was the start of college and pro football season. I love football and enjoy watching the games, well that is I used to before I lost my house. Oh how I yearn for the day when I can put my feet up in my own home and watch the games again. I am so depressed over this. I realize this might seem petty to some of you, but to me it's one of life's pleasures that I used to take for granite, and now that I don't have anywhere to go to watch football, it just makes me so very sad. I guess I could go to a bar and watch, but I really can't buy anything, every dime I have has to go toward gas and other necessities and I'm pretty sure they won't just let me sit there and not buy anything, those plasma TV's aren't cheap! I just feel a huge chunk of my motivation has been stalled.

Big hugs for you Mrhomercat! I hear you about taking things for granted. I felt the same way when I was committed and it does make you appreciate the simple things. I hope you get your place soon.

Reminders are hard to deal with sometimes. They are good memories, but sad memories too. It is hard trying to deal with loss while also having to move on.
Thanks for this!

Use this dissapointment as further motivation to get out of the state you are in now.

You will get there.
One step at a time.
Take care of you and the next thing you need to do to work toward a place to stay... Remember to keep asking for help. Like a good player, don't give up. Keep your head in the game. Take care of you.

Hi Mrhomercat,

I am sorry you aren't able to watch the college or pro football games. I sincerely hope you will be able to put your feet up in your own home and watch the games in the near future!

Hi Elana, so sorry to get back with you so late but thank you for asking. I'm still homeless and growing more weary day to day. How are you? I hope things are well with you. Please pray and help those less fortunate than I. Pray for the Mother's with children who have no where to go. Pray for the elderly.
