Shadowdancer - I too love to watch my cat sleep. his favorite place right now would be the top of my computer monitor if I hadnt sprayed it with this stuff called Out. its a training stray to keep you pet out of gabage, unwanted areas and alos stops their deciding a special area just needs to have their scent. so now he is sleeping on the top of the rocking chair. he's wider than it is so his four legs hang down on each side but then he forget where he is in his sleep pulls a couple paws up and rolls off the chair. Then of course he looks at me with a combination look that seems to say - how dare you and I meant to do that. Thanks yes I had a great day.

Samanthq - one of the reasons my doctor prescribed benedryl (an antihistamine) for sleeping was because it contains a low dosage of the same medications in prescription sleeping pills and benedryl is als easy to adjust it comes in both tablets (which can be cut in half) and capsules. I am 151 pounds and 5 feet 1. my normal dosage for allergies is one capsule. For sleeping I take 2. wait an hour if that doesnt do it I take another whole capsule usually this makes me drowsy enough so that when using my other relaxation tools I am able to sleep. but on rare occasions I have taken another half tablet one hour after the last one. using benedryl correctly the person can take up to 12 tablets/capsules in a 24 hour period as long as they are taken at intervols. Consult your doctor first because some medications (including antidepressants like paxil) are not supposed to be mixed with benedryl. That way too he/she can tell you what intervols it would be safe for you to take it as a sleep aid.

hi all! i've had a bit of sleep so i can sort of function again! YAY! lol.

samanthaq, that cat of yours sounds like quite the looney-toon, lol. you shoulda had him looked at! Insomnia? i hope that thing with social security went ok. and i hope you have gotten some sleep!

myself, i got some spray stuff like what you're talking about. it smelled awful, IMO. and my cat seemed to think that just meant she had to mark -over- it. drove me crazy! i don't really care if she sleeps on the printer...esp since she spends half her time falling off of it Insomnia? hehe lol, your cat sounds like mine when she went through her sleeping on the top of the back of the couch faze. kept falling off there too. Insomnia? so much for cat-like balance! lol

sky, nope watching cats sleep is about 15 times funnier than watching grass grow Insomnia? i know how ya feel, i've been up since 5am this morning. i'm sorry that you're in so much pain though. Insomnia? that bites. makes sleeping even harder. take care of yourself, hope it starts to feel better soon!
