We took my girl kitty to vet. She has a high thyroid count. The vet thinks that is why she is peeing on the rug. that and a painful tooth-- cavatiy. She will have that tooth pulled.
So she is going to take some thyroid meds. in the meantime we ordered a Scat Mat to put on the spot they have been peeing on. We think my other kitty is just copying her or smelling the pee and then adding his. I hope this works!! Thank you all for your support!!! ![]()

Again, this is great news! It's not great that Kitty has a thyroid problem and a bad tooth, but, having discovered the problems, you can seek rational, humane solutions.
I'm so happy for you and your friends, Berries ![]()

Very good that the vet picked this up. Now hopefully with the pain and the thyroid straightened out, she will feel a lot better and the peeing will stop. Well done, Berries and vet! HUGGGGGGGGSSSSSSSSS!

I'm so glad that you found out what seems to be causing the problem and it seems to be a simple solution. I'm so happy for you and for your kitty. That is wonderful.
