I wanted to start another thread about our accomplishments so we can share what we have been able to do and support each other in that. Share anything, big or small. It all counts.

So...
Today I .....washed a load of dishes.
Thanks for this!

Good idea googley!

Today I walked to my favourite coffee shop to write for an hour instead of staying in bed

Today, I planted some spring bulbs... crocus, daffodil, tulips, and scilla. And I made myself some risotto for dinner.

Made a big pot of ratatouille out of all of the veggies I picked the other day that otherwise would have been killed by the frost. A lot of chopping.

I have been volunteering at the World Equestrian Games for the last 2 weeks & have several more days of volunteering to go this week until next Monday (the day after the games are over). I have days where I feel totally exhausted as it's a lot of hard work doing the planting of the jumps & setting up the flowers for many of the events in the arenas & hauling mulch & getting it set up to set the flowers in. I can really understand why I am on disability as I couldn't work this hard for very long without completely collapsing, but it's really an accomplishment & so much fun meeting people from all over the world & talking to the competitors & watching them warm up & perform in the areas I can see them (without buying tickets since I don't have money for tickets).

Also, I hadn't cleaned my kitchen for almost a month & I got the floor mostly washed (had my dog tied up there when I first started volunteering). Had tomatoes & other fruit I hadn't had a chance to eat that had gotten over ripe & smelly...it smelled so bad, I almost couldn't go into my kitchen without getting sick feeling.....so I got that all cleaned up a few days ago....now all I have to do is get the dishes put into my dish washer & cleaned.......the worst part is over as it was really gross.....what an accomplishment to get through that.....was just to busy to do it & when I wasn't busy, I didn't feel like dealing with it......so it was definitely an accomplishment.

Today I spend 30-ish minutes researching something I found interesting. I also finally looked up the word "energy" in a dictionary. It's a fascinating though foreign concept.

Finally changed the worn, flimsy and nasty old toiletseats that were such a #¤%& to clean. Took 5 min, each. Why did it take me years to do it?
