I'm wracking my brain trying to figure out where I'm gonna get money this week to eat. I have $1 to my name and I need that for the copay for my meds. I have $20 in food stamps and don't know how I'm gonna make it. I have that many food stamps for 2 people. I'm never gonna make it.

I also need cigarettes, but I'm gonna ask my dad to buy those for me. I won't be able to give my bf any cigarettes this week, which will be rough on me. I can get him cigarettes at the beginning of the week because his payee gives him $50 every Monday...but I can only go grocery shopping on Sunday.

I've just about had it with all my money problems!

So much stress associated with money.

I'm in that hole too right now.

I've been putting off paying bills, paying only what is necessary... and I still don't have enough for my prescriptions (even just the copay) and I'm ending up with $20-$30 to pay for food and get by until the next pay.

I hope you can make it through OK and get what you need and also some relief from the stress it all causes.

nationwide help for food - St vincent Du Paul, Salvation army, Catholic charities all have "food pantries" where you can sign up and recieve free food so many times a month usually weekly, and soup kitchens where they actually cook a meal one sometimes twice a week for those who need it.

Cash, medical and foodstamps can be gotten through your local Department of Human Services(this agency is also nationwide services). Some states still call these agencies - social services. This agency also has a list of community agencys that give out free food, sometimes vouchers for clothing, furniture and so on.

Catholic charities salvation army and St. Vincent Du Paul also sometimes helps with cash, clothing and furnature vouchers too.

For those thinking about the upcomming winter electric bills there is help for that through various electric companies nationwide for those who qualify. it is known by many names but here it is called LEIP, Low income Energy Help, and Energy share.
