Hit rock bottom today. i feel completely isolated from everyone I know and feel to weak and worthless to climb out of my despair. I have issues with social anxiety, depression, chem. dep., and women. I wake everyday and wonder why I bother to get up. If there is anyone out there who can relate or is willing to listen please let me know!

Hello
I am so so sorry that you are feeling this way right now. I do relate to what you are saying and I am listening to you. I know how lonely, sad and hopeless it feels when you feel like that; you are dealing with so many issues and it's hard to imagine not feeling like you do now.

I haven't been here on this site for long, but I can tell you that this place is full of people who completely understand how you feel and are ready to listen. Yes, there are lots of other people who know exactly what you are talking about. I encourage you to share more about yourself and give yourself a break. Right now just take a deep breath and say phew.. I am not alone. One step at a time.

Just to let you know that I am listening, too. This feeling of isolation is both understandable (you've just moved, right?) and irrational/exaggerated. Simplistic as it sounds, I often find that it takes the edge off if I just go to some street with lots of people, to a supermarket etc. You don't even have to talk to anyone, every bit of human contact helps. Oh, and you get up every morning because you won't feel this isolated forever, it does get better.

Welcome to PC d3lay11!
You are not alone. It is easy to get sucked into the negative thoughts but don't give them any credence. It is important to talk to someone. If you have a provider, I would contact them and if not, would consider finding one. They can really be of help in these times. Take extra good care of yourself right now, you are so worth it, and hang in there!
