Welcome to the forums TBR. We can all use some support. i want to listen

I cope by taking meds (which I think need adjusting), waiting out the lows because I know they'll get better, enjoying time with the kids and my pets, and spending a lot of time in here.

Hi TBR, I just recently admitted to my Long depression. So I'm quite new to things as well. I'm on Paxil--working my way up the dosage, atm =) It's helped me alot.

If you mean me? No...I most likely wouldn't be alive if I didn't try it. I was willing to try anything, if it had possiblilty of helping--at all. =) Anything would have been better than where I was 3 weeks ago!

i think i've been where you were, 3 weeks ago, all my life. i don't like......trust doctors, i had a bad one.
and i still find it hard to believe that there is a "fix-it" pill.
and how much does your meds cost you?
aren't they expensive?

I've been that way most of my life, since age 13. But I was getting ready to act, and I wanted to see my husband and baby neices again.

My meds are covered by current insurance, but a month supply is $98 according to the bottle.

The paxil doesn't fix everything...it helps though. =)

i'm happy for you. i hope someday i can be on the "other side of the fence".
i wish i had insurance, why does helping yourself stay strong, healthy, and safe have to be so expensive?
it isn't fair. i have 3 baby neices......all girls, i watch one thru the week. they are such a joy. oh to be that innocent and blissful...................................................

Thank you =)

We still get meds...but doc visits have been cut to 5x a year...and no referrals to specialists. I'm just glad they left us something.

I have 2 baby neices, one is 6 weeks old, the other is 4 months old =D

Babies are such a joy and so innocent and trusting...I love being around them. Trying to have some rub off, or learn from them, maybe i want to listen I love them, which is reason enough to see them. =)
