Just wante dto say Hi!!! Was searching on the internet and came across this site!!!
I am in germany...... feel real depressed, lifeless.... don't have the energy to do anything,...... what for!?!?
I feel the worst about feeling this way cause I have a little son who is just 9 months old.... and I am not a very good example for him at the moment!!!
I guess you could say that I have been having depressions since I was a teenager.... which means the last 10-12 years. Don't know where they came from or why???
I feel really lonely here too... don't have any friends and find it really difficult to make new contacts.
I got married last year and have lived with my husband for the last seven years. He is great. But I don't get to spend much time with him as he works a lot!!!
As stupid as it may sound to me my life seems senseless at the moment!!! It is like I am totally mentally blocked up.... paralized!!!

Hi idunno and welcome to the forums, glad you found us. This is a great place to be if you are lonely. Alot of great people who understand.

You said you don't know why your depressed but sometimes talking about it will help you figure out if there is a "cause".

It can be very hard if you are feeling isolated or alone. I know I feel that way sometimes.

Are you German or an American living in Germany?

Hi heidu,

Thankx for ur fast response. I am actually neither American or German.
I guess officially I am Belgian, but only cause I was born there. Spent time in Portugal from the age of 2-13. Then went to boarding school from 13-17. Then met my husband..... spent time in an English seaside town enjoying life from 17-21.... and then we relocated to Germany due to my husbands job!!!
Have to go for now as my little rascal has just woken will check in again later or tomorrow.
Nice to have some people to share stuff with ;-)

I'll bet your son is beautiful. Mine is older - 7, but I remember those days.

Hi, idunno. I'm new here too. Gee, sorry you feel that way. Have you let anyone know how you are feeling?

Anyway, not sure what else to write. Just hi.
